Tell us a little about yourself, including prior experience.
I started my career consulting in life sciences after business school, then delved into Value-Based Care (VBC) and health reform. I was inspired by personal challenges: my son was born very prematurely, and we had to navigate that world and coordinate his care. We were fortunate to have resources and access to specialists, but even so, it was a complex and overwhelming process.
What does your current role at SPCP entail, particularly in relation to population health?
I focus on three key areas: building infrastructure for effective VBC, managing payer dynamics and contracts, and helping to integrate actionable insights into clinic operations through education and technology.
What excites you most about being part of the SPCP team?
I find it incredibly rewarding to make a tangible impact on patients' lives, because I know how challenging care navigation can be. I also enjoy collaborating with our talented team to solve complex healthcare challenges.
What does success look like for SPCP, and what are your key objectives?
We’re aiming to significantly boost clinical outcomes, such as reduced readmission rates and enhanced disease management, this year and beyond. For us, success means our clinics are well-positioned in driving and providing VBC, and our clinicians and patients are satisfied with the care and attention they receive.
